Sir Martin Donnelly

Martin spent 37 years as a civil servant, working in a range of UK government departments including No 10/Cabinet Office, Treasury, Foreign Office and Home Office; the European Commission in Brussels and the French Finance Ministry. He led work on UK growth, university finance, trade policy and international diplomacy in the G7.

After leaving government in 2017 Martin wrote and lectured on Brexit, how government works and international affairs. He became UK Managing Director of Boeing from summer 2019 until late 2022. He is a non executive director of the National Audit Office and works with South Yorkshire on business development. Martin is married with three adult daughters and lives in south Wales.
