John Edwards

John Edwards is the UK Information Commissioner. He has been in post since January 2022. Since then, he has called for MPs to change how they use WhatsApp to discuss government policy, fined TikTok £12.7m for misusing children’s data and worked hard to help people and organisations feel empowered through information. He’s keen to highlight the ICO’s support and guidance for UK citizens and businesses when it comes to data protection and freedom of information compliance.
