Caroline Waterston

Caroline is currently the Editor in Chief of the Mirror Brand which includes the Daily Mirror, Sunday Mirror and Mirror.co.uk.

She joined Reach in 2001 as a trainee news reporter on the Sunday Mail following a short stint on a National News Agency after completing BA Hons degree in Media and Popular Culture.

Having been crowned ‘Young Journalist of the Year’ at the Scottish Press Awards in 2003, she went on to hold a number of senior editorial positions for our national titles on both news and features desks, including at the People and Mirror/Sunday Mirror.

In 2018, Caroline played a key role in the successful integration of Express newspapers and Trinity Mirror in her role as Deputy Editor in Chief of Express and Star titles.

Since 2020, Caroline has held the role of Editor-in-Chief of our national magazines and supplements, a hub of nine titles including OK, New, Notebook and S, leading an integrated editorial team serving content across multiple platforms.

During her work transforming the OK! magazine brand, she spearheaded the OK! Beauty Box, a Customer Value Strategy initiative that has continued to see growth since its launch in 2020.
