Campaigns raising public awareness
The power of national campaigns
As a leading national social mobility charity, we use our network to raise awareness about the impact of systemic inequalities and then galvanise support to drive change. Our national and local campaigns target areas where we believe we can make the most impact through the power of partnership and collaboration.

Green skills week
Climate change and the race to net zero are changing the job landscape with many new and unique employment opportunities arising as employers switch to more sustainable practices. With so much change happening so fast most young people would struggle to know what this means for them. Through our first-ever cross-programmatic campaign, we delivered thousands of fully funded work experience placements as well as more than a hundred inspirational talks and broadcasts linked to the green economy to help young people feel better prepared to consider a green career in the future.
Discover! Creative Careers
The British creative industries are booming but young people from state schools and colleges are still massively underrepresented in the sector. As part of a national campaign funded by the government and the Arts Council, we partnered with Screenskills to deliver workshops, work experience, and inspirational talks to thousands of young people from state schools and colleges which showcased careers in creative tech, film, animation, design, music, fashion, publishing, architecture, crafts, heritage, museums, galleries, and other creative industries.
World Cup of Careers
Tens of millions of young people in the UK love football. But most young fans know the chances of them making it as professional footballers are pretty slim, and they never consider the hundreds of other roles the industry offers. In the build-up to the 2022 World Cup, we inspired thousands of young people to keep their dreams alive when we delivered a jam-packed schedule of insight sessions over two weeks from men and women who perform important roles either on or off the pitch from physios to sports psychologists and business managers.
