Tap into our pool of young talent and boost social mobility
We understand the pressures that employers of all sizes are under to adapt to a rapidly changing labour market and help close skills gaps. We also understand that it can be very difficult to locate the best early talent when the playing field is far from level and your resources are often stretched. As a social mobility charity, we are committed to supporting employers like you to uncover new and diverse sources of talent and develop the right skillsets in your future workforce.
Why work with Speakers for Schools?
In the UK, a young person’s background still has a significant bearing on their life outcomes and current data shows the UK has one of the poorest rates of social mobility in the developed world. By working with us to offer opportunities to young people from less privileged backgrounds, you can benefit your business and the UK economy at large by:
Strengthening your early talent pipeline
We can help you establish new, more inclusive ways to attract a more diverse mix of young people
Maximising your social impact
We offer fully scaleable options that are impact-focussed and can be adjusted to meet specific CSR objectives
Future proofing the UK workforce
We all benefit from building a more sustainable and productive UK workforce for the future

Helping employers attract emerging talent
Award-winning ad agency Lucky Generals hosted a group of young people for 3 days in their London studio to showcase the advertising industry to its fullest. They drew up a jam-packed agenda that included job-shadowing and hands-on activities to give the young people the chance to build their skills and develop a much deeper understanding of what it would be like to work for them.
