NTBC are joined by guest speaker, author Moïra Fowley-Doyle. Like our hero read Jane Eyre, there is a supernatural element to Moïra’s book, All the Bad Apples, which also deals with family history, tragedy, love and hope as the characters grapple with their circumstances, their identity, and their destinies.

Moïra is half-French, half-Irish and lives in Dublin where they write magic realism, read tarot cards and raise witch babies. Moïra’s first novel, The Accident Season, was shortlisted for the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize and received widespread critical acclaim. Their second novel, Spellbook of the Lost and Found, was shortlisted for an Irish Book Award.
