BT are proud to announce we will be opening applications for our Network Engineer and Lead Engineering Maintenance Apprentice opportunities in Jan 2025, to start work in Sept 2025!!

Engineering Maintenance Apprentice




This role is for our Power & Cooling Engineers who are at the heart of keeping BT’s networks operating 24/7 365 days a year. Utilising their expertise and knowledge in both Low and High Voltage systems, alarms, emergency lighting, cooling and UPS they ensure that the BT estate continues to work no matter the circumstances. Working with their experienced teams within our exchange buildings as well as other environments, including radio sites, rooftops and outdoors, they are required to support the variety of power systems and cooling equipment that ensures our network keeps the UK’s internet working. 


Network Engineer Apprentice





Your role in our team will be to ensure our networks are designed, tested, built, and maintained with fresh, new, innovative ideas in mind. You’ll be managing different services across our networks, ensuring that our customers have the very best experience. Not only that, you’ll have the opportunity to get involved in testing the latest networking technology, upgrading the existing network and the planning, installing and running of network elements and using world class data analytics to drive service improvements.


Things to consider:



Entry Requirements


5 GCSEs at grades 4-9 (C or above) including English Language & Maths. Equivalent qualifications are also accepted and 2 Levels at grades C (or above). 


You will be required to hold a Full UK driving licence.
