Embark on a comprehensive three-day journey into the heart of the legal profession with the experts themselves, designed to provide a deep dive into the roles and responsibilities of lawyers, legal operations, and barristers. Each day is meticulously structured to offer a blend of informative sessions and interactive activities.
Day 1: Legal - Discover the intricacies of being a lawyer with an introductory session followed by a detailed look at a typical day in the life of a legal practitioner. Engage in a hands-on activity reviewing a case file and strategize client preparation, culminating in a feedback session and a Q&A to wrap up the day.
Day 2: Legal Operations - Gain insights into the world of legal operations, understanding the day-to-day and the critical processes behind case file management and documentation preparation. Participate in an activity centred around case file review, followed by a discussion on the various routes to a career in law, ending with a Q&A session.
Day 3: Barrister - Step into the shoes of a barrister with an overview of their daily routine and the preparation required for court presentations. Build upon the case reviewed on Day 1 with a focus on preparing arguments from both sides, receive feedback, and engage in a final Q&A session to conclude the event.
