The Northern Ireland Assembly is made up of 90 members known as Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) and they meet in Parliament Buildings on the Stormont Estate in east Belfast. MLAs are responsible for checking the working of Ministers and their Departments, passing law and for representing
