Anthony Osijo
Anthony is a seasoned senior banker with truly global experience in his field and who has had an extensive portfolio of responsibilities in finance, financial services and associated industries over the course of his career.
He has worked in Capital Markets since 1991, starting as a Portfolio analyst for a large Swedish Pension Fund in London. Anthony specialised in securitisation before moving to UBS as a Director in the Equity Derivatives business. He subsequently worked as the Head of Investment Banking for Deutsche Bank in Switzerland which he left to partner in a start-up hedge fund in 2005.
Anthony joined Credit Agricole in London in 2008 to develop the Hedge Fund Business and moved to Asia to help run the Global Markets franchise in 2011. He has worked extensively across the structuring, equities and debt markets in Europe, the US and Asia and returned to London in his current role in November 2015
Currently he is responsible for defining and implementing the global sales strategy for Debt products within CA-CIB. His role includes ensuring the commercial success of the product, monetisation, quality of flows and pricing policy.
As a non-executive, Anthony has worked on numerous boards including ASIFMA, HaVE, Unicorn AM to name a few. He also served as NED and adviser to BBOXX, a start-up which provides rural electrification in to deprived areas. He currently mentors a number of less advantaged members of his community.
A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Financial Services and a chartered accountant, Anthony is also an alumnus of University of Lagos, City University London and holds an MBA from Duke University.
