Aoife Mannion

I am a professional footballer – currently playing for Birmingham City Ladies. I also play for England Women U23s. My dream is to play for the England Senior Women’s team. I completed an Economics BSc degree at University of Birmingham with 1st Class honours in December 2017. I am passionate about gender equality – particularly about encouraging girls to play sport and to be part of sports teams, be at a social level or all the way up to the lofty heights of an international team. Outside of sport, I have an interest in Philosophy (mainly Ethics), Economics (especially Behavioural Economics) & Corporate Governance.
