Darren Jones

Darren is the Labour Member of Parliament for Bristol North West and the Chair of the House of Commons Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Committee. He also sits on the Joint Committee on the National Security Strategy and the Liaison Committee, which scrutinises the work of the Prime Minister.

Darren is also a leading voice on technology policy, chairing the All Party Parliamentary Groups on Technology and National Security, Data Poverty and the Parliamentary Information, Communication and Technology Forum. He chairs Labour Digital and the international inter-parliamentary network on emerging technologies, the Institute of AI.
