Erika Eliasson-Norris is a leading force in corporate governance, transforming how organisations use  governance as a strategic advantage. As CEO of Beyond Governance, she’s spearheading a bold mission to make governance accessible, practical, and genuinely impactful for organisations across the UK, the US, and beyond. She also serves as the Governance Assessor for the Post Office Horizon IT Public Inquiry–the largest public inquiry in UK history.

With over 15 years of experience advising FTSE-listed companies, Erika has held senior governance roles at Low & Bonar, InterContinental Hotels Group, Premier Foods, and KPMG.. At just 32, she became the youngest executive in the industry to  advise a FTSE 250 board, setting a new standard in governance leadership.

Under Erika’s leadership, Beyond Governance challenges outdated governance models, offering expert guidance on M&A, IPOs, digital transformation, and risk strategy. Her philosophy is clear: governance isn’t bureaucracy it is the engine of long-term, sustainable value.

Recognised as  “Governance Professional of the Year” by the Chartered Governance Institute, Erika is dedicated to driving accountability, transparency, and meaningful governance reform.
