
Hannah Penn
Hannah is currently Joint Managing Director at Pablo, the UK’s fastest growing independent advertising agency and twice named independent agency of the year. She has worked in advertising for 15 years, and her career began at AMV BBDO, where she shot up the ladder to become the firm’s youngest ever board member and youngest department head. She’s worked on campaigns for clients in all sectors including Sainsburys, The National Lottery, Walkers, Eurostar, Snickers, Deliveroo and DFS. Her and co-MD recently launched the Pablo living wage, starting an industry movement which is seeing the average starting salary in advertising rise from £24k to £30k. She is passionate about demystifying the advertising sector – making clear the many and varied roles on offer. And she is passionate about talking about self belief – as someone who battles raging imposter syndrome, she wants to talk to more young people about how it can be used as a force for good, and what she has learnt from it about becoming a great leader.
