John Evans

John Evans established Hawthorn in 2013 and has built the consultancy to over 50 consultants working across corporate communications, political advisory, capital markets and private client advisory.

Hawthorn advises Chief Executives, boards and senior leadership teams to make sense of complexity, devising communications strategies that support corporate objectives that enable organisations to take a stake in the conversations that drive public perceptions.

The firm also has an extensive research division that delivers intelligence on both domestic and international markets.

Amongst John’s private clients are FTSE100 CEOs, entrepreneurs and family offices. John works closely with clients on a wide range of projects. He also sits on the advisory board of an international law firm.

John has been included in the Spears Top Recommended list for reputation managers since 2015 and in 2018 won an industry career achievement award.

John is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and is married with three children.
