John Vary

A thought leader in the field of retail disruption and human centred innovation, John is Futurologist at the John Lewis Partnership. He is responsible for the Partnership’s innovation team where he oversees the gathering of intelligence about the future; the composing of stories about possible alternative futures; the invention and production of new products and experiences relevant today for these futures. John is also the founder of the Partnership’s maker space Room Y which is home to a designer, a maker and an inventor who focus on creating tangible outputs that help communicate and encourage new ways of thinking about the future.
