Kate Ferguson

Political Editor at The Sun on Sunday – one of the most influential newspapers in the country.

Kate Ferguson went to Highgate Wood Secondary school, a Haringey comprehensive.

She went on to study History at Wadham College at Oxford Univeristy and then studied for her journalism qualification (NCTJ) at Lambeth FE college.

Kate cut her teeth as a reporter on local newspapers in London, went on to be a news agency reporter, and then specialised in politics.

She has helped to break some big stories including the Chris Pincher scandal and Nadhim Zahawi’s tax affairs.

She has a wealth of political experience, having covered the Brexit wars, Covid, the rise and fall of Boris Johnson and Jeremy Corbyn, and several general elections.
