Tom Wright CBE

Prior to this Tom led the merger of Help the Aged and Age Concern to create Age UK where he was CEO for nearly 9 years. Tom is currently also on the Board of NICE (National Institute of Health and Social Care Excellence), and is a Trustee of Leeds Castle, Doteveryone and The Imperial War Museum Development Trust.
Tom is a marketer by background and created VisitBritain from the merger of the British Tourist Authority and English Tourism Council and was the CEO for 7 years. Prior to this he was Managing Director of Saga Holidays, and Director of Center Parcs in the UK and Europe, and has worked on a number of household brands such as KP, Anchor and Carlsberg-Tetley.
