UNLOCKING A CAREER IN THE CHARITY SECTOR WITH THE WAVE PROJECT

The Wave Project is the World's first surf therapy charity who supports young people with mental health challenges. They are on a mission to support and change the lives of the 1:5 young people with a probable mental health disorder, that's 6 young people in every classroom. This Industry Spotlight Talk will be delivered by Jason Wood, Education Manager and members of the Wave Project central team.  The Wave Project talk will outline the exciting world of the third sector and charities. They will discuss the different roles from marketing to fund raising that are vital for charities. They also will share the importance of using the outdoors, sport and nature immersion to improve our mental health.
